Betterflycasting is committed to ensuring that you get the most out of your session. We aim to make it fun, informative and structured to your needs. We are keen to know what you want to get from your session and will strive to give you a great experience.
If you wish (but not obligatory) we can put together a plan of areas for you to work on prior to your next lesson. This can be useful for you when practicing on your own and means you will be well prepared for your next lesson.
Tuition can be provided which concentrates only on casting techniques or it done by booking a guided day (half or full day). This can be on a river or still water where both casting and fishing techniques can be learned (this will include an additional cost of a fishery permit).
If you would like we would be happy to take photographs or a video of any fish you catch and send these to you. This can be especially nice if it’s your first fish caught on a fly rod or if you catch a special fish!
We are keen that you get every support during your journey of learning fly fishing. Once you have become a Betterflycasting client we would be delighted to offer you on going help via telephone or email. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with any questions.
Betterflycasting is fully insured to deliver fly casting tuition in addition to holding current certificates in First Aid and Safeguarding and Protecting Children.
